FAA/EASA Paint Certification for Boeing
Following our cost-saving scope we have developed an original
and unique FAA/EASA Paint Certification that allows the willing airline to apply our
Interplan water-based coating systems to the whole interior of every Boeing Aircrafts in their fleet.
From the cockpit to the galleys, the floor to the ceiling, including :
Sidewall panels
Overhead stowage bin panels
Air grill panels
Galleys and surrounding galley walls
Lavatories
PSU panels
All entrance areas
Cockpit panels
Emergency exits
And more…
Below pictures of a Europe Airpost B737QC that was entirely painted thanks to this solution :
This solution is time and cost-saving :
Using one SINGLE coating system (filler + optional primer + topcoat), Airlines can now paint the WHOLE cabin interior of their Boeings with HSH.
As the Interplan products have High Solid Contents and Low VOC, they can even be applied DIRECTLY INSIDE the cabins without necessarily having to remove the panels.
Because we also meet the FAR25.853 flammability requirements on Boeing parts covered with decorative film or the original paint system, it is possible to paint directly on top of these materials. Without having to remove the film or sand the paint down back to the OEM specifications.
Some airlines already use the HSH Interplan products along with this cost-saving certification :
- AVIANCA
- AERO MEXICO
- EUROPE AIRPOST
- TUI JETAIR FLY
- MALAYSIA AIRLINES

Two more are already in the certification process :
– LAN CHILI
– PHILIPINES AIRLINES
And several more airlines have shown great interest…
This FAA Paint Certification is also available for every MD80, Fokker F100 and for SAAB 340B
The Paint Certification for Airbuses is also in the works and will be completed very soon.
